A few things are important to the Ruminator’s digestion. If you can spot ways to improve them, it would be very helpful.

Stop words. The Ruminator is not interested in discovering, day after day, that “the”, “and”, “of” and so on are popular words. Such words are filtered out. But the filter is not perfect. If you see a word that you think adds nothing to our understanding of the news, let us know.

Phrases. The Ruminator has a look-up list of set phrases, like “Australian Prime Minister”, or “Wellington District Court”. If you notice that something that looks like a phrase isn’t being recorded, let us know. What counts as a phrase? Generally, names of things, topics and people. Random ideas. Any suggestions or reports of oddities are most welcome.

Beer. The Ruminator has expensive tastes in beer. Any money not spent on beer will go towards other worthy causes, such as coffee.
